Christmas has a way of bringing back vivid memories of simple pleasures from years past, from the inviting glow of a newly decorated tree to the familiar joy of rediscovering cherished ornaments. This holiday season, Down to Earth Living is once again bringing that nostalgia to life, transforming its 10,000-square-foot showroom into an immersive holiday experience.
Visitors are invited to discover the sights, sounds, and traditions that make the holidays special as they wander through beautifully crafted displays where the magic of the season comes alive. Families are invited to explore the expansive showroom to find that special holiday décor item, new pre-lit Christmas tree or twinkling new ornament to add to their collection.
The staff at Down to Earth will host their annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event will feature a festive atmosphere with wine and cheese for adults and free goody bags for the children. Santa will be on site from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and visits are always free.
Santa will return November 27, 28 and 29, December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13, and December 19 and 20.
Generations of families have made Down to Earth Living’s annual Christmas display a part of their holiday tradition for over 50 years. In fact, more than 80% of respondents to a recent Down to Earth survey said visiting Down to Earth Living during the holidays has become a family tradition.
The showroom will feature life-like Santas, the latest and most technologically advanced artificial pre-lit Christmas trees, friendly life-size reindeer, hundreds of exclusive ornaments including collectibles like Mark Roberts, adorable holiday gnomes, and a bevy of furry animals waiting to be discovered among the tree branches and displays.
In addition to the widest selection of pre-lit Christmas trees, Down to Earth Living is known for offering the area’s highest quality live Frasier fir Christmas trees guaranteed to stay fresh and hold their needles through Christmas Day, so families can enjoy the magic of the season from start to finish whether they choose a live tree or pre-lit version.
“The only place you will find a more festive experience is on Fifth Avenue during the holidays! We create holiday themed vignettes throughout the showroom and feature some of the finest and most unique holiday decorations anywhere in the tri-state,” states Stuart Leventhal, owner of Down to Earth Living. “Our goal is to have everyone leave here filled with the wonder and magic that Christmas brings each year,” he added.
Down to Earth Living Garden Center encourages customers to bring in photos of their garden or backyard, as well as images that inspire them, and speak with Down to Earth experts for personalized guidance on how to bring their visions to life. The team assists with selecting plants, shrubs, containers, and statuary to achieve the desired look. The expanded indoor plant showroom is open all year, and free repotting is available with any plant or pot purchase.
