Free fall garden display at Down to Earth nursery
Bill Cary, email@example.com
Once again, Down to Earth nursery in Pomona is hosting a free exhibit of fall plantings in a garden setting that will highlight some of the prettiest and most unusual Japanese maples in its collection. The exhibit, which runs through Oct. 25, will also incorporate bonsai trees, ornamental grasses, grafted conifers, sculptures and, of course, fall favorites like mums.
Advisers will be on hand to explain the attributes of each of the varieties of plants on display and to offer advice on what would work in your garden setting. Everything in the fall garden exhibit will be for sale.
The exhibit will be open whenever the nursery is open (daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., until 5 p.m. Sundays). Down to Earth is at 1040 Route 45 in Pomona, 845-354-8500, www.dteliving.com
